Video capture from my Samsung 360 of an extremely close lightning strike behind me.
My name is John D. Kittles and I am a creative (hence the name). I dabble in different types of photography (storm, landscape, portrait, as well as others). I play around with paracord on occasion.
Here is a little bit about myself. I’m from Georgia transplanted in southern Louisiana where I met my lovely bride over a quarter century ago. I’m retired from the Air Force after 20 years of service. I have been to Europe, the Persian Gulf, Korea, and quite a few states during my military career. I’m currently working for a local school board as a computer repair technician.
My passion is photography. Storm photography is my favorite. I love the thrill of trying to capture lightning. If I’m not storm chasing, I’m getting sunrise/sunset/landscape shots. Flowers and insects are also something I capture. Mobile videography/timelapse photography are also fun to do.
