My phone - my camera

Since my hiatus last year, I’ve focused on getting better at mobile photography. I have my phone on me all the time so why not utilize the camera, practice and get better at it. In this post, I will show you the apps I use when taking pictures and shooting video.

Here are the apps I use for my mobile photography in no certain order of usage -

Manual cam - paid (Google Play Store) (not available for IOS)

Framelapse - (create timelapses) (Google Play Store) - free

Lightning camera - (capture lightning) (Google Play Store)

Moment Pro camera - (Google Play Store) (no longer updated for Google Play Store)

I have provided links to the apps for both Google and IOS. The list above is in no particular order of usage. Some of the apps I use are not available on IOS but there are equivalent camera apps available. If there is enough interest, I will do in-depth posts on each app and dive deep into each one. Storm chase shots...

There was a nice thunderstorm yesterday that was producing some really nice lightning. Since I had to run to the store for medical supplies, I decided to do a bit of storm spotting. I finally found a spot where I could get some nice video footage and these shots were pulled from the video.

When I got the video, I didn’t know I had gotten these lightning strikes. I love getting lightning shots when I can.
