TouchRetouch App for mobile photography editing

One of my goals with this blog/website is to provide free resources for people who like to edit pictures on their phones. Today I will talk about the TouchRetouch App (Google) (IOS). I have had this app on my phone for a while now and I put it to the test yesterday, editing a lightning shot from this past weekend’s storm. Below is a before and after of the picture using the app.

If you are into using your phone for your whole photography process, I recommend this app.

My phone - my camera with attachable lenses

Since I’m focusing on improving my mobile photography, I invested into some attachable lenses from Moment. I have been following them on YouTube and decided to get some of their lenses and see what I can create with them. They were running a sale at the time, so I got their 1.33 Anamorphic Lens, Wide 18mm Angle Lens, Telephoto 58mm Lens, and Macro 10x Lens. I also got their phone case so the lenses can attach to the phone.

I’m having fun with these lenses. My favorite one so far has to be the Macro lens. I’ve really enjoyed figuring this lens out and seeing what it can do.

If you get a chance, grab a case, lens, and have some fun. I will post pictures from each lens so you can see what I was able to capture with them. I am no way affiliated with Moment or their products. I just like their stuff and wanted to share with you.

I hope everyone has a good one. Peace.

My camera - my editor (part 1 - Snapseed)

Android - IOS

Android - IOS

Recently, I talked about my phone as my camera. I shared most of the camera apps I use on my phone (I forgot some after going through my phone). I also use my phone as my photography and video editor. I’m going to start a series on the different editors I use to edit my pictures and videos. Today I’m going to discuss Snapseed.

Snapseed is a free app for both Android and IOS. It has the capability to edit RAW images, which is a plus when shooting in RAW and needing to get content out quickly. Here is a screen shot of what is available.

As you can see, there are several different options when editing in Snapseed. If you want excellent tutorials on how to use Snapseed, Kenneth Wayne is an expert when it comes to editing in Snapseed. Here is his Instagram and YouTube. Check out his stuff if you want to learn Snapseed.

I hope this helps with an option to edit on your phone. Please like, comment, and subscribe if you haven’t. I hope you have a wonderful day. Peace.
